Anglican Pittsburgh Nominates 8

The Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh has announced an eight-member slate in its election of the Rt. Rev. Robert Duncan’s successor. The diocese will elect the new bishop during a special convention April 22-23 at St. Stephen’s Church, Sewickley.

“We pray that the Holy Spirit will assist the Nominees as they answer questions about themselves and their ministry experience,” the diocese’s standing committee said. “Standardized, written materials will be published shortly after Easter (March 27, 2016). In the meantime, we ask everyone to recall the theme of our discernment process: Prayer, not politics; discernment, not a search.”
