Black Ministries Survey

Adapted from the Office of Public Affairs

A search committee for the Episcopal Church’s missioner for black ministries has created a survey to seek church members’ guidance.

The search committee asks black Episcopalians, clergy serving congregations that are historically or predominantly black, and others with experience and passion for ministry by and with black people to complete a one-page survey.

Among other questions, the survey asks respondents to choose their five highest priorities from such areas as Advocacy and Justice, Christian Formation, Evangelism, Multicultural Ministry, and Youth Ministry.

Responses will help form a vision for the office and for the position.

The survey will close on May 5.
