Japanese-Korean Reconciliation

Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori joined in a service of reconciliation between people of Japanese and Korean heritage.

Primates of the two Anglican provinces are leading the reconciliation effort, and participated in the service on July 5. The Most Rev. Nathaniel M. Uematsu, primate of Nippon Sei Ko Kai, and the Most Rev. Paul Keun Sang Kim, primate of the Anglican Church in Korea, met when they were young men.

The Rt. Rev. Diane Jardine Bruce, who led planning for the event, preached.
