At the 74th General Convention in Minneapolis, the Rt. Rev. Peter Beckwith, Bishop of Springfield, said he sensed "an impending train wreck" in the Anglican Communion. While the train wreck had not yet occurred as 2003 drew to a close, there were signs that Bishop Beckwith’s prophecy would be fulfilled.
