Fire investigators are urging San Antonio-area churches to be vigilant after St. Francis' Church in San Antonio became the latest arson victim on June 14. Vandals threw a Molotov cocktail through an office window, but the fire failed to spread, causing only minimal damage and no injuries. Others among the five churches affected in the past month have not been as fortunate. A suspicious fire at Shenandoah Church of Christ the same day as the one at St. Francis' caused more than $250,000 in damage. Fire officials believe the same suspect is responsible.
