  • Plano Congregation to Leave Episcopal Church

    Those who attended services at Christ Church, Plano, Texas, on June 25, were read a letter by the rector, the Rev. David H. Roseberry, in which he announced that the vestry had decided unanimously to “disassociate as soon as possible” from The Episcopal Church, while remaining under the episcopal authority of the Rt. Rev. James M. Stanton, Bishop of Dallas.

  • Archbishop of Canterbury Responds to General Convention

    In response to the decisions of the recently completed General Convention, Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams released a statement in which he stressed that the key issue for the Church is not the human rights of homosexual persons but about how the Church makes decisions in a responsible way.
