John-David Schofield received a telephone call earlier today from Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold, informing him that the Review Committee met and had voted unanimously to drop all charges against Bishop Schofield. The Review Committee also found that the use of Canon IV.9 (abandonment of communion) was an inappropriate use of canon law, according to a brief statement posted on the diocesan website.
