Longtime Bishop of Puerto Rico Dies
The Rt. Rev. Francisco Reus-Froylán, Bishop of Puerto Rico from 1965 to 1986, died Nov. 19 of pneumonia. He was 89.

Arson Concern Becomes Reality
After a nearby Baptist church burned to the ground due to suspected arson, parishioners at St. Christopher's Church in West Palm Beach, Fla., requested enhanced police patrols of the neighborhood. The extra surveillance paid off when a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office observed Rodney Smith attempting to set on fire a shed on the church property.
