Northern Michigan Bishop Nominee Has Background in Buddhism
In 2004, the diocese's former bishop, the late James Kelsey, recognized the Rev. Kevin Thew Forrester, now the diocese's sole nominee for bishop, for having “received Buddhist ‘lay ordination’,” saying he was “walking the path of Christianity and Zen Buddhism together.”

Virginia Council: Bless Same-Sex Unions with Unauthorized Liturgies
A report from the Diocese of Virginia's Windsor Dialogue Commission said "the time is right for same-gender unions to be blessed, albeit the liturgies should not be authorized.”

Third Bishop Quits Anglican Church of Canada
The Rt. Rev. Ronald Ferris, Bishop of the northern Ontario Diocese of Algoma in the Anglican Church of Canada from 1995 to 2008 and the Diocese of Yukon from 1981 to 1995, has transferred his canonical residence to the Anglican Church of the Southern Cone.
