  • Oregon Elects New Bishop on Second Ballot

    The Rev. Dr. Michael Joseph Hanley, rector of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, Roseville, Minn., will be the tenth Bishop of Oregon, pending consents by a majority of bishops and standing committees.

  • Diocese of Ohio to Gather Blessing Rites

    The Rt. Rev. Mark Hollingsworth, Bishop of Ohio, responded to the General Convention’s adoption of Resolution C056 by saying his diocese will support the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music as it gathers liturgies and other resources regarding such rites.

  • Correcting our Cover Story of 12-6-09

    The Living Church regrets that it did not offer Mike Watson, author of the cover essay in the December 6 issue, timely review of revisions that led to several problems in the text.
