  The Rt. Rev. Charles E. Jenkins III, Bishop of Louisiana, during the procession after the principal service at St. Thomas' Church Fifth Avenue, New York, on Nov. 6. Recently the parish dedicated the plate collection, a total of $24,538.29 (which was matched by a $25,000 grant from a St. Thomas' fund designated for outreach), to help pay the salaries of Louisiana clergy who no longer have homes or congregations.
