    Tom Woods has worked the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper at St. Paul's Church, Columbus, Ind., for nearly six decades. This year, he and his wife, Gertrude, along with several other volunteers mixed and served six varieties of hotcakes. As for the Woods, they opted for the same flapjacks they've enjoyed since 1948: plain.

    Trinity Church in Columbus, Ohio, will be the site where the House of Bishops will elect a successor to Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold on June 18. The parish is in the final stages of a $1.4 million renovation project that included the installation of new lighting and improved handicap accessibility. The congregation held its first worship service in the newly renovated 750-seat space on Feb. 26.
