The Most Rev. Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, and some 3,000 other pilgrims paid tribute June 24 to the first British martyr beheaded for the faith at St. Alban’s Cathedral, Hertfordshire, England. Three days later Archbishop Williams issued a detailed report to the primates of the Anglican Communion on the 75th General Convention of The Episcopal Church.
