• Bishop Marshall

  BLESSINGS ALLOWED: Noting that General Convention “empowered bishops to make ‘generous provision’ regarding pastoral and liturgical ministry to same-sex couples,” Bishop Paul Marshall of Bethlehem (Pa.) said priests in the diocese may now provide church blessings to these couples.

• St. Margaret's Chapel

  King David I of Scotland built St. Margaret's Chapel, Edinburgh's oldest building, as a royal chapel to honor his late mother. She was canonized in 1250. The chapel is still in use today.
