Prof. Yee Wins Stendahl Medal

Professor Gale Yee has received the Krister Stendahl Medal in Biblical Studies, the highest academic distinction awarded by the Graduate Theological Foundation.

Yee is the Nancy W. King Professor of Biblical Studies at Episcopal Divinity School. She delivered the annual Lord Robert Runcie Lecture, “From the Bottom Up: Poverty and Inequality in Ancient Israel and Today,” to the foundation’s graduating class May 7 in Mishawaka, Indiana.
