Uganda Christian University has dedicated a new building in honor of the Rev. Stephen Noll and his wife, Peggy. The Stephen and Peggy Noll Lecture Block is a four-story, 22,000-square-foot building that comprises 10 classrooms with a capacity of 960 students.

The Nolls left Trinity in 2000 to become missionaries in Uganda. During their time at UCU (2000-10), the university grew tenfold to become a premier Christian institution in East Africa. Stephen Noll served as the university’s first chancellor, and is an emeritus professor at Trinity.

The Nolls returned to Kampala in late October for the dedication. Janet Museveni, First Lady of Uganda, received a master’s degree in a UCU commencement during the Nolls’ visit.
